adidas - Game Changers
In 2020 adidas celebrated the 50th anniversary of their iconic franchise the Superstar. The milestone moment was brought to life through a global campaign that featured adidas own Superstars, including: Pharrell, Nigo, Jonah Hill, Yara Shahidi, and various others.
The campaign was centered on the idea of change in “sport” For our portion of campaign, we wanted to show teams, throughout the US, that are making change in their own cities and in their own “sport” that they each love.
For the first 3 months of 2020, we traveled all over the States to tell the stories of 13 crews that were trailblazing their own crafts. From the Compton Cowboys to Internet Friends, a queer collective of DJ’s in Miami. We found crews that not only loved their own sport, but they loved it more because of the team they were part of. It was my pleasure to direct and help tell these stories, as I too share their passion for doing what I love.
